Buyer (Supply Chain)

Location: Hybrid role in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, United States. Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.

Salary: $63,100.00–$79,500.00 per year.

What you will do

• Manage purchasing activities for global Aftermarket Parts & Service operations, including sourcing events, quotations, supplier awards, and supplier records in SAP.
• Develop inventory and supplier stocking programs, maintain costing and standard cost files, and resolve invoice, delivery, and rush-order issues.
• Lead cost-reduction initiatives and collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Materials, Accounting, and suppliers.
• Evaluate component quotations, specification deviations, alternative materials, supplier quality issues, and resourcing opportunities.
• Support global New Product Development projects, including RFQ analysis, supplier involvement, project deliverables, and product-introduction decisions.
• Prepare reports and status updates, recommend sourcing strategies and supplier-base consolidation, and implement corrective actions for supply chain problems.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related program preferred.
• At least 2 years of purchasing experience required.
• US work authorization without current or future sponsorship is required.
