IT Systems Analyst II (Linux/Web Development)

Location: Egg Harbor Township, New Jersey, United States; work is primarily performed in an office environment. Travel is required up to 75%.

Estimated pay range: $63,000–$75,000 annually.

What you will do

• Provide technical and administrative support for National Airspace System programs and systems.
• Analyze business needs and help define data, system, and software requirements with project teams and stakeholders.
• Assist with the analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of applications and system enhancements.
• Develop and maintain web applications and support full-stack work, including user interfaces and backend database integration.
• Support systems security, client/server and cross-browser compatibility, standards development, and second-level engineering activities.
• Assist with objectives, requirements, deliverables, schedules, budgets, documentation, program reviews, technical meetings, and stakeholder briefings.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in technology or a related field and 2–4 years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain the required customer clearance for access to systems, facilities, equipment, and property.
• Foundational understanding of systems security principles and best practices.
• Knowledge of software development methodologies and lifecycle processes.
• Linux experience required.
• Familiarity with HTML5/XHTML, CSS, PHP, JavaScript, SQL, and JSON for web application development.
• Understanding of full-stack development concepts and/or Model-View-Controller architecture.
• Basic knowledge of object-oriented programming, client/server architecture, and cross-browser development techniques.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, collaboration, communication, organizational, planning, scheduling, documentation, and stakeholder-meeting skills.
• Ability to support analysis, design, implementation, technical discussions, program reviews, and project meetings.
