Data Visualization & Analytics Specialist (Tableau/Looker)

Location: Hybrid, 3 days per week in the downtown Toronto office, Canada

Salary: CAD 105,000–115,000 per year

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain internal- and external-facing dashboards using Tableau, Looker, and other analytical tools.
• Build standardized End-of-Campaign, End-of-Quarter, and End-of-Year reporting solutions for campaign performance measurement.
• Automate dashboards, reporting workflows, and data preparation processes to reduce manual effort and improve timely insight delivery.
• Analyze large and complex datasets using exploratory data analysis and statistical techniques to identify trends, correlations, and actionable opportunities.
• Use Google BigQuery and other data sources to extract, transform, organize, and model data for scalable reporting.
• Manage deliverables end to end, including requirements gathering, validation, deployment, documentation, stakeholder communication, and ongoing maintenance.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience developing dashboards, reports, and data visualizations with Tableau and/or Looker.
• Strong proficiency in Google BigQuery, including SQL-based data extraction, querying, analysis, and data management.
• Experience using Python and analytical or visualization libraries for data analysis, manipulation, and reporting automation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to work with large datasets and apply statistical techniques.
• Experience with exploratory data analysis, identifying trends and correlations, and translating findings into actionable recommendations.
• Knowledge of data profiling, cleansing, validation, reconciliation, data quality, and governance practices.
• Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into scalable dashboards, data models, and reporting solutions.
• Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills for explaining complex data and findings to technical and non-technical audiences.
• A proactive, detail-oriented approach with ownership, the ability to manage multiple deliverables, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively with minimal supervision.
