What you will do

• Integrate multiple data sources to develop reports, charts, models, and analysis.
• Help partners understand business performance and profitability.
• Provide accurate reporting during regular reporting cycles and on an ad hoc basis.
• Collaborate with team members to meet client needs in a timely manner.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in post-secondary education and returning to full-time studies.
• Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, Statistics, or a related field.
• Familiarity with SQL for querying databases.
• Familiarity with data manipulation and analysis languages such as SAS or Python, including Pandas and Scikit-learn.
• Familiarity with business intelligence tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
• Familiarity with business applications such as Excel and PowerPoint.
• Ability to clearly present results.
• Interest in the business impact of analytical work and answering the “So what?” question.
• Values of trust, teamwork, and accountability; willingness to learn and put clients first.

Nice to have

• Enrollment in a registered Co-op program is not required.

Hiring process

• Applications are reviewed in October; interviews take place in October and November; offers are expected in November and December.
• The process may include an attribute-based assessment and skills tests such as simulation, coding, French proficiency, and Microsoft Office.
• Applications must include a resume of no more than two pages, a cover letter of no more than one page, and the most recent unofficial transcript combined into one PDF.
• This is a four-month temporary fixed-term co-op opportunity with 37.5 weekly hours.
