Senior Consultant, Control Optimization & Analytics

Location: Toronto, ON, Canada; hybrid work with 1–3 days per week on-site and the remaining days remote

What you will do

• Lead complex advanced analytics engagements, including solution design, analysis, delivery, and communication of results.
• Develop scalable, automated, and usable analytics solutions for Business Controls using predictive algorithms, statistical modeling, and data visualization.
• Design interactive dashboards for continuous monitoring and control testing, and create analytics products that support enterprise-wide change.
• Lead the transition to Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Dataverse solutions for automating controls and workflows.
• Establish Power Platform governance and best practices covering environments, DLP policies, ALM, security, and a Center of Excellence model.
• Standardize templates, documentation, data management, and analytics delivery practices while collaborating across the analytics community.

Requirements

• Degree, preferably at graduate level, in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Quantitative Finance, or a related science.
• 5+ years of experience with advanced practical and theoretical knowledge in data analytics, quantitative modeling, AI/ML/NLP, business intelligence, and statistical analysis.
• Hands-on experience with advanced analytical, data management, and visualization tools including Power Platform, Power BI, Tableau, Python, R, SQL, and Oracle RDBMS.
• Strategic and systematic thinking with a strong analytical and process development background.
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills, including turning data into insights and presenting complex technical ideas and sensitive findings to business stakeholders.
• Strong organization, leadership, and team-oriented skills, with the ability to collaborate and lead across a matrix organization, influence change, and deliver results.
• Legal eligibility to work in Canada and, where applicable, a valid work or study permit.
