Director of Quality (EHS)

What you will do

• Define and execute the hirify.global USA quality vision, mission, and EHS strategy.
• Lead the Quality department, develop team capability, and promote accountability, continuous improvement, innovation, and safety-first practices.
• Manage the Quality Management System and compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards.
• Drive product, plant, supplier, project, and service quality improvements, including warranty reduction, customer satisfaction, and cost-of-poor-quality initiatives.
• Lead customer and supplier quality programs, audits, corrective actions, certification activities, and regulatory compliance.
• Oversee environmental, health, and safety activities, third-party safety providers, reporting protocols, KPIs, and improvement actions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Quality Management, Environmental Science, or a related field.
• At least 15 years of experience in quality and EHS management, including extensive ISO standards experience, preferably in material handling automation.
• Demonstrated leadership in obtaining and maintaining ISO 9000, ISO 14000, and ISO 45000 certifications.
• Experience leading audits, corrective actions, compliance programs, and certification activities.
• Proven success improving quality, safety, and environmental practices in manufacturing or a similar environment.
• Deep QMS knowledge and strong understanding of safety management, environmental compliance, and risk mitigation.
• Experience improving KPIs, customer satisfaction, warranty performance, and cost of poor quality.
• Exceptional leadership, organizational, communication, decision-making, prioritization, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
• Experience leading, mentoring, coaching, developing, and succession-planning for technical and professional teams.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree or professional certification such as CQE, Six Sigma Black Belt, or CSP.
