Senior Supply Chain Manager (Manufacturing)

Location: Torreon, Coahuila, Mexico; onsite five days a week. Relocation is available.

What you will do

• Manage the order-to-delivery supply chain to ensure commodity availability for manufacturing or distribution.
• Develop, implement, and manage supply chain strategies, solutions, and integrated processes.
• Coordinate with operations, procurement, logistics, distribution, sales, engineering, and facilities management on schedules and deliverables.
• Lead logistics specialists through hiring, training, coaching, and team development.
• Establish supply chain performance metrics and benchmarks, monitor planned versus actual results, and present findings to senior management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
• Extensive experience in supply chain, operations, manufacturing, procurement, or logistics leadership roles.
• Leadership experience managing leaders and multiple functional teams, with the ability to influence across functions in a matrix organization.
• Experience leading supply chain operations in a manufacturing or assembly environment.
• Experience with SIOP, production planning, inventory management, and supplier management processes.
• Strong business acumen and financial understanding of inventory, productivity, cost, and operational performance metrics.
• Effective communication and executive presentation skills.
• Advanced English proficiency.

• Master’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience in a large, global manufacturing organization or complex assembly manufacturing operations.
• Success leading supply chain transformation and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Experience managing global supplier networks and mitigating supply chain risks.
• Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma knowledge or certification.
• Experience implementing supply chain digitalization, analytics, and planning solutions.
• Success developing high-performing teams and future leaders, plus international or global business experience.
