Global Banking & Markets Operations-Salt Lake City-Associate-Asset Servicing (Fintech)

Location: Salt Lake City, UT, United States; office-based role.

What you will do

• Manage a group of regional Asset Servicing teams and collaborate with managers and operational groups globally.
• Oversee voluntary and mandatory income and corporate action events for equity and fixed income products, including event creation, reconciliation, instruction, entitlement distribution, claims management, and client service.
• Resolve complex operational issues, manage priorities, and provide expertise across workflows, markets, and products.
• Strengthen risk and control frameworks, manage operational risks, and support remediation for new products, migrations, and other changes.
• Deliver process, tool, business intelligence, and AI-related enhancements that improve scalability and operational leverage.
• Partner with a Vice President to build a resilient team through feedback, coaching, collaboration, and career development.

Requirements

• Experienced Operations professional with strong interpersonal, communication, analytical, time-management, prioritization, and multitasking skills.
• Deep technical expertise, industry and market knowledge, and the ability to understand complex workflows and resolve challenging issues.
• Ability to communicate with and influence stakeholders at all organizational levels, from analyst to managing director.
• Proven ability to manage operational risks, develop control enhancements, and contribute to technical and operating environment risk reviews.
• Ability to handle challenging client requests, build long-term relationships, and use business intelligence, analytics, and empirical data to assess impact.
• Ability to take ownership of complex situations, challenge the status quo, and influence outcomes with clear rationale.

Nice to have

• 3–5 years of relevant experience.
• Exposure to corporate action event processing or middle-office functions.
• Knowledge of emerging business, economic, and market trends.
• Experience improving processes and developing practical, creative solutions.
