Business Continuity, Incident Management & Internal Audit Manager (Fintech)

Location: United States; remote-first. Applicants must already have authorization to work in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Salary: $131,000–$164,300 USD in Zone 1; $117,900–$147,900 USD in Zone 2; $111,400–$139,700 USD in Zone 3.

What you will do

• Lead the enterprise Business Continuity Management program, including policies, standards, playbooks, business impact analyses, recovery strategies, and annual reviews.
• Report resilience gaps and remediation progress to functional leaders and senior leadership, and coordinate tabletop exercises and recovery tests with business, cloud infrastructure, and information security partners.
• Own critical incident management, including severity definitions, escalation, communications, on-call roles, major-disruption response, post-incident reviews, metrics, and corrective actions.
• Execute risk-based internal audits across operational, financial, technology, compliance, and third-party areas.
• Lead audit scoping, risk and control matrices, testing, workpapers, evidence-based reporting, remediation validation, and management action tracking.
• Use or develop internal AI capabilities for findings tracking, continuous monitoring, incident awareness, audit testing, and reporting while preserving audit independence.

Requirements

• 5–7 years of experience in business continuity, incident management, or crisis management, including at least 2 years leading BCM programs, plus 2 or more years of internal audit experience.
• Hands-on experience with BCM, BIAs, recovery planning, incident response, and audit methodology in FinTech, Payments, and/or Software companies is non-negotiable.
• Familiarity with business continuity, risk management, and internal audit frameworks.
• Experience with or a strong desire to incorporate AI capabilities into professional processes.
• Strong writing and presentation skills, including the ability to brief executives clearly during pressure situations and provide credible challenge at all organizational levels.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, information systems, or a similar field.

Nice to have

• CIA, CISA, CRISC, CBCP/MBCP, CISSP, or CPA certification.
