Account Executive - Flourish (Data Storytelling)

Canva develops design products and is growing Flourish, a data storytelling platform for creating interactive graphics.

What you will do

• Build relationships with potential customers and shape tailored Flourish solutions around their needs.
• Prospect target organizations, including newsrooms, government bodies, nonprofits, universities, and global brands.
• Run discovery processes and deliver pitches and presentations that connect customer challenges to Flourish features.
• Negotiate contracts with support from Legal and Security and manage opportunities through close.
• Track the sales pipeline in the CRM and hand new customers over to the Success team.
• Partner with Marketing on events and campaigns and share customer feedback to inform the Flourish product roadmap.

Requirements

• 3+ years of B2B sales experience, managing the full sales cycle from prospecting through close and consistently meeting or exceeding targets.
• Comfort initiating conversations with senior stakeholders and engaging with multiple decision-makers.
• Ability to explain complex products through simple, compelling customer stories.
• Strong organization and ability to manage a pipeline of opportunities without losing detail.
• Curiosity about data and storytelling and willingness to learn the Flourish product.

Nice to have

• Experience selling to media, broadcast, sports, or newsroom organizations, particularly where data visualization or audience-engagement content is involved.
