Senior Project Manager

Location: Remote, United States; applicants throughout the United States are considered. Must be authorized to work in the United States and pass a background check and pre-employment drug testing.

On-Target Earnings: $120,000–$130,000, plus incentive compensation based on company performance.

What you will do

• Lead multiple concurrent client engagements, owning scope, schedule, budget, risks, stakeholders, and delivery outcomes.
• Manage the highest-visibility and highest-risk projects across the portfolio.
• Act as a consultative client partner by anticipating issues, guiding decisions, and protecting project outcomes.
• Set and enforce delivery standards through consistent processes, tooling, backlogs, schedules, status reporting, and governance.
• Mentor project managers and delivery team members while serving as a subject-matter expert and delivery role model.
• Manage billable utilization while balancing several client engagements.

Requirements

• 6 years of project management experience in professional services or consulting delivery, including 6 years running multiple concurrent client engagements.
• Active Top Secret federal security clearance required.
• Experience supporting Department of War clients or programs required.
• Demonstrated success leading complex, high-risk, or high-visibility projects to successful outcomes.
• Strong command of traditional and agile delivery, including backlog management, iteration planning, and product-owner collaboration.
• Fluency with Jira and Confluence and experience following and enforcing standard delivery processes.
• Comfort working in a lean, fast-changing environment and building structure where it is not already defined.
• Ability to manage multiple clients simultaneously; deeply dedicated single-client portfolio leadership is aligned with the Program Manager lane rather than this role.

Nice to have

• PMP, PMI-ACP, or equivalent certification.
• Certified ScrumMaster, SAFe, or comparable agile credential.
• Atlassian accreditations, including Jira, Confluence, or relevant technical accreditations.
• Relevant AI-delivery or tooling accreditations.
