Scrum Master (AI)

Location: Remote; role associated with Easton, Pennsylvania, United States. Travel may be required for stakeholder engagement, workshops, PI planning, delivery alignment, and transformation events.

What you will do

• Serve as Scrum Master for one or more cross-functional Agile teams delivering enterprise software, digital products, ERP modernization, cloud, data, AI, automation, and technology modernization initiatives.
• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies and establish team norms, working agreements, Definition of Ready, Definition of Done, estimation, planning, and delivery operating models.
• Coach teams and Product Owners on self-organization, backlog management, prioritization, refinement, sustainable delivery, and continuous improvement.
• Remove organizational, technical, process, and dependency impediments while coordinating risks, dependencies, commitments, and cross-team delivery alignment.
• Support scaled Agile practices, including PI planning, Agile Release Trains, Scrum of Scrums, portfolio planning, Lean Portfolio Management, and value stream coordination.
• Track and interpret Agile delivery metrics, lead retrospectives, build Communities of Practice, and mentor junior Scrum Masters and Agile champions.

Requirements

• 10+ years of professional experience in Agile delivery, software delivery, project management, technology delivery, Agile coaching, or a related IT discipline within a mid-to-large enterprise environment, including 7+ years as a Scrum Master supporting multiple Scrum teams.
• Experience establishing new Agile teams, defining norms and ceremonies, and guiding teams through forming, storming, norming, and performing stages.
• Experience coaching mature teams and supporting enterprise-scale Agile transformations, scaled delivery models, product-centric operating models, and complex digital transformation initiatives.
• Strong understanding of Scrum, Kanban, Lean, SAFe, Scrum@Scale, LeSS, Disciplined Agile, Agile Portfolio Management, Value Stream Management, Lean Portfolio Management, SDLC, CI/CD, and DevSecOps collaboration.
• Experience with PI planning, Agile Release Trains, dependency management, cross-team coordination, Scrum of Scrums, portfolio planning, and enterprise delivery governance.
• Working knowledge of software development lifecycle practices, CI/CD pipelines, DevOps, cloud platforms, APIs, microservices, enterprise architecture, ERP implementations, data platforms, Business Intelligence, and enterprise modernization programs.
• Hands-on software development is not required, but understanding of modern engineering practices, technical dependencies, quality practices, release readiness, and operational handoffs is expected.
• Proficiency with Agile and collaboration tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Rally, VersionOne, Confluence, Miro, Microsoft Teams, Slack, SharePoint, Power BI, Smartsheet, or similar platforms.
• Strong analytical, facilitation, communication, negotiation, stakeholder management, coaching, mentoring, conflict resolution, change leadership, and executive presentation skills; a customer-focused, adaptable, and accountable approach is expected.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline; equivalent experience may be considered.

• Master’s degree in a related discipline.
• Certifications such as Certified Scrum Master, CSP-SM, PSM, SAFe, PMI-ACP, PMP, ICAgile, Lean Six Sigma, or Prosci Change Management.
