R&D Recruiter (AI)

Location: New York, United States; on-site

Base salary: $140K–$200K annually, plus potential equity, commission, and bonus.

hirify.global is building an AI-powered legal operations platform for in-house legal teams, consolidating requests, routine work, and workflow tracking in one system.

What you will do

• Own R&D hiring from intake through signed offer and the candidate's first day.
• Hire product engineers, applied AI and LLM engineers, data scientists, product managers, and designers.
• Partner with engineering and product leaders to define expectations for each level.
• Source candidates directly through GitHub, research communities, alumni networks, and competitor teams using AI-personalized outreach.
• Run fast, fair technical processes, including focused take-homes, calibrated interviews, and debriefs within 24 hours.
• Report on recruiting funnel performance weekly and improve the process based on data.

Requirements

• 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, including at least 3 software-engineering hires at product-led technology companies.
• Ability to discuss technology stacks, levels, and system design with engineers and identify weak signals.
• Quantifiable track record covering hires per quarter, offer acceptance, and hire performance.
• Most recent hires must have been sourced directly rather than from inbound applications.
• Fluency with Ashby or a similar ATS.
• Real use of AI in personal recruiting workflows.

Nice to have

• Experience hiring AI, ML, or LLM engineers.
• Experience hiring product managers and designers alongside engineering roles.
• Experience relocating engineers to the UK, including visa sponsorship.
