Summer 2027 Internship – Satellite Programs (Aerospace)

Location: On-site in Golden, Colorado, United States. Relocation and housing support is available for interns traveling from outside the local area.

Hourly compensation: $30.00/hour

What you will do

• Support satellite program execution alongside Satellite Program Managers and cross-functional engineering teams.
• Build, refine, and maintain program schedules, including Integrated Master Schedules.
• Develop tools and processes for tracking program risks, actions, dependencies, cost, and technical scope.
• Support cost tracking, forecasting, program reporting, and analysis of program data.
• Coordinate technical scope, priorities, and information across engineering and business teams.
• Present work and key learnings at the end of the internship.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in engineering, Industrial Engineering, Project or Program Management, or another technically focused field.
• Undergraduate students must be rising juniors or rising seniors.
• Hands-on experience through coursework, research, student teams, clubs, internships, or other project-based work.
• Strong analytical skills and comfort working with Excel, data, or similar tools.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to collaborate across teams and technical disciplines.
• Curiosity, initiative, and comfort navigating ambiguity.

Nice to have

• Participation in multidisciplinary student teams such as rocketry, robotics, CubeSat, or similar organizations.
• Coursework or exposure to project management, systems engineering, scheduling, risk management, or related topics.
• Previous internship or co-op experience.
• Previous aerospace, satellite, or space-industry exposure.
