Company

What you will do

  • Lead satellite programs from blank-sheet concept through qualification, full-rate production, and flight.
  • Own rate, yield, unit cost, strategic program decisions, and the technical roadmap for high-volume production.
  • Run multiple programs and make architectural and design-for-manufacturing decisions with Chief Engineers.
  • Coordinate manufacturing, supply chain, integration, and test teams while removing production roadblocks.
  • Manage strategic suppliers and subcontracts to protect schedule and margin.
  • Act as the primary contact for commercial constellation operators and support proposals with Business Development and Strategy.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in physics, mathematics, science, or another technical discipline.
  • At least 5 years of program management experience.
  • End-to-end ownership of a technical program, product, or team, with evidence of delivering under pressure.
  • Experience moving hardware and software from prototype toward high-rate production, including quantified yield, throughput, and cost improvements.
  • Understanding of takt time, line-of-balance, design-for-manufacturing, and learning-curve economics.
  • Experience identifying and mitigating tooling, supply-chain, or yield risks before they affect production.
  • U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.

Nice to have

  • Experience transitioning low-volume prototypes into full-rate production while maintaining mission reliability.
  • Deep experience scaling satellite, aerospace, or analogous complex hardware production at volume.
  • Experience reducing unit cost at production rate without sacrificing reliability.
  • Master’s degree in engineering, operations, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with systems engineering, trade studies, interface control, requirement integrity, Jira, Confluence, and ERP/MRP tools.
  • Multiple program cycles or 8+ years in aerospace or defense.

Culture & Benefits

  • Fast-paced, high-ownership environment focused on innovation, teamwork, tight deadlines, and delivering under pressure.
  • Company stock and an Employee Stock Purchase Program with a 15% discount.
  • Medical, dental, vision, HSA, FSA, disability, life insurance, and 401(k) with company match.
  • Paid vacation, sick time, 11 paid holidays, and paid parental leave.
  • Production work may involve prolonged sitting, standing, walking, computer work, and occasional moderate noise, dust, and fumes.
  • Additional perks include EV charging, fitness facilities or gym discounts, snacks and beverages, and employee discounts.
