Technical Project Manager (HR Integrations)

Location: Barcelona, Spain; hybrid setup with 4 days per week at the office and 1 day remote

What you will do

• Map payroll, HRIS, and connector ecosystems in Spain and new international markets, assess integration feasibility, and contribute to country-specific roadmaps.
• Lead technical workshops with software partners, define specifications, and negotiate timelines, SLAs, rate limits, and data exchange constraints.
• Analyze customer and prospect requirements, write functional and technical specifications, coordinate development, and manage QA and acceptance testing.
• Oversee integration incidents, maintenance, stabilization, handover to Support, and success and usage metrics.
• Train Spain’s CX, Onboarding, Sales, and Account Management teams, create reusable playbooks, and provide product feedback on edge cases.
• Use AI assistants and internal copilots for scoping, specification analysis, payload and API exchange summaries, while verifying outputs and sources.

Requirements

• At least 6 years of experience in technical project management, SaaS integration, HRIS, payroll, or information systems.
• Engineering background, or a business degree combined with solid technical skills through a coding bootcamp or hands-on integration experience.
• Ability to read JSON payloads, analyze API exchanges, handle SFTP import/export flows, and investigate anomalies using logs and dashboards such as Datadog and Looker.
• Strong knowledge of the Spanish payroll and HR ecosystem.
• High autonomy when working with a remote manager and making decisions with clients or partners.
• Experience training or mentoring less experienced teams and a strong interest in knowledge sharing.
• Fluent Spanish and English required.

• Background in HR, payroll, or workforce management.
• Experience building reusable AI workflows, including structured prompts, skills, or custom projects.
• French language skills.
