IT Analyst Applications

Location: Malaga, Spain. Onsite attendance is required five days a week; the position may require 10% travel.

Base minimum pay: €58,719.00 per year.

What you will do

• Lead Agile delivery for multiple application and Business Intelligence initiatives as a Technical Scrum Master and Delivery Lead.
• Guide Agile teams of 5–10 developers through planning, refinement, reviews, retrospectives, and continuous improvement.
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions while managing priorities, scope, risks, dependencies, and estimates.
• Contribute to solution design, architecture discussions, technical reviews, implementation planning, and complex issue resolution.
• Use Azure DevOps for backlog management, source control, testing coordination, documentation, reporting, and deployment pipeline governance.
• Coordinate developers, architects, database administrators, cybersecurity teams, DevOps engineers, Product Owners, and business stakeholders while ensuring IT governance and controls.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
• At least 5 years of recent hands-on experience in software development, data engineering, system integration, or technical solution delivery, including advanced proficiency in one or more enterprise technologies such as Java, .NET/C#, Python, SQL, JavaScript/TypeScript, or Node.js.
• Practical experience with relational or cloud data platforms such as Snowflake, MySQL, SQL Server, or DB2, plus cloud platforms and modern application delivery practices.
• Ability to evaluate and challenge solution designs, technical estimates, APIs, data flows, source code, security requirements, and CI/CD pipelines.
• At least 3 years of experience leading Agile software delivery as a Scrum Master, Technical Project Manager, Delivery Lead, or similar.
• Proven experience with Azure DevOps for backlog management, source control, technical documentation, testing, deployment pipelines, and delivery reporting.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional technical teams and managing multiple initiatives concurrently.
• Professional proficiency in English, effective communication with global business and technical teams, and a proactive approach.
• A valid work permit or EU-25/EFTA citizenship is required.

• Business Intelligence platforms such as Tableau, ThoughtSpot, Power BI, and Microsoft Fabric.
• Data warehousing, analytics, data modeling, semantic layers, KPI governance, enterprise reporting, and ETL/ELT or data integration technologies.
• Microsoft Azure services, AWS, cloud-native architectures, and integration patterns.
• Solutions involving AI, Machine Learning, Generative AI, intelligent automation, Azure AI Services, Azure OpenAI, Amazon Bedrock, Anthropic Claude, or Microsoft Copilot.
• Responsible AI, data privacy, security, and governance experience.
• SnapLogic, Qlik, API design, REST services, authentication, enterprise integrations, Power Apps, Power Automate, and workflow automation.
• Git repositories, automated testing, code reviews, continuous delivery, application lifecycle management, and production support.
