Payroll Implementation Consultant (Dayforce)

What you will do

• Gather requirements, participate in design workshops, identify gaps, and configure Dayforce Payroll against agreed and statutory requirements.
• Validate configurations, execute testing, support parallel payroll runs, investigate discrepancies, and maintain documentation and test evidence.
• Support client SMEs with demonstrations, knowledge transfer, training, UAT preparation, test scenarios, and expected results.
• Support go-live and hypercare by resolving root causes and helping clients become self-sufficient.
• Own assigned activities through completion, raise blockers and delivery risks early, and manage scope, priorities, and commitments.
• Collaborate with WFM, Data Conversion, and Integration colleagues to deliver joined-up solutions.

Requirements

• Experience in payroll operations or payroll/HCM implementation.
• Working knowledge of payroll processes and compliance; UK PAYE, RTI, and pensions knowledge is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and a structured approach to testing and problem-solving.
• Client-focused communication skills, including asking questions, explaining solutions, and supporting client learning.
• Ability to work at pace, manage priorities, follow through on commitments, and adapt as project needs change.
• Confidence working with data, curiosity about technology, and an inquisitive approach to configuring, testing, and solving client challenges.
• Collaborative attitude, willingness to learn, and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
