Customer Account Manager (Manufacturing)

Location: Onsite in Mebane, North Carolina, United States; up to 20% domestic and international travel required. A valid passport is required.

What you will do

• Manage strategic customer accounts, order fulfillment, backlog, delivery performance, quality standards, and customer commitments.
• Lead communication and issue resolution across sales, operations, factories, logistics, and customers.
• Coordinate continuous improvement initiatives, streamline customer lifecycle processes, and implement best practices.
• Oversee post-sales support, claims, order execution, expedites, cancellations, account issues, and quality concerns.
• Monitor account KPIs and forecasts, facilitate business reviews, engage executives and customers, and provide insights to mitigate risks and support growth.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of experience; alternatively, an Associate’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field with 6+ years of relevant experience, or a High School Diploma/GED with 10+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience in manufacturing, project management, planning, and/or operations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Proficiency in English.
• Ability and willingness to travel up to 20% of the time, including domestic and international travel.
• Permanent work authorization permitting employment with hirify.global in the United States is required.

Nice to have

• Experience with SAP/AMSAP and working knowledge of Power BI, Salesforce, EDI, EWM, Empower, Resilience, COBOL, and Shop Floor Control applications.
• Spanish language skills.
