QA Tester (Gaming)

Location: Onsite in the Liverpool office 5 days per week; United Kingdom

What you will do

• Execute test plans on pre-release software.
• Assess functionality against official SIE quality standards.
• Research, reproduce, document, and report defects and quality violations.
• Log concise issue reports for development teams and provide user feedback on the end product.
• Apply basic to intermediate networking knowledge to online console, PC, and mobile gaming functionality.
• Collaborate on QA processes and related projects across PlayStation Studios and external studios.

Requirements

• At least 6 months of Games or Software QA experience.
• Understanding of networking setup and hardware, including their application to modern console, PC, and mobile gaming.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexible schedule.

Nice to have

• 1+ years of previous QA experience in a related field.
• Related degree or equivalent qualification.
