Middle Manual QA Engineer (Fintech)

What you will do

• Manually test frontend and backend features across the customer journey, from landing pages and registration through onboarding and analytics.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, marketers, and external partners to clarify requirements and maintain quality.
• Identify gaps, propose improvements, and help evolve QA processes.
• Perform basic API testing with Postman and write simple SQL queries to validate data and backend logic.
• Use proxy tools to validate requests and responses in depth.
• Support regression testing in Android and iOS mobile apps when needed.

Requirements

• 3+ years of manual QA experience focused on web applications.
• Solid knowledge of test design techniques.
• Hands-on experience testing APIs and working with Postman.
• Technical literacy in HTML/CSS, client-server architecture, and basic debugging.
• Ability to write SQL queries to validate backend logic.
• Confident use of proxy tools such as Charles or Fiddler.
• Strong critical thinking and analytical skills, including the ability to go beyond following test scripts.
• Self-driven, organized, and comfortable working without micromanagement.
• Clear communication and effective collaboration with technical and non-technical teams; collaboration is often conducted in English.

Nice to have

• Experience testing Android and iOS mobile apps.
• Interest in building or improving QA workflows and processes.
• Familiarity with automation tools or AI-assisted testing.
• Experience in product-first companies or marketing-driven environments.
