QA Tester (Gaming)

Location: United Kingdom, Liverpool; onsite in the Liverpool office 5 days per week

What you will do

• Execute test plans on pre-release software and assess functionality against SIE quality standards.
• Find, research, reproduce, and document product defects and quality violations.
• Log concise bug reports for development-team review and provide user feedback on the end product.
• Apply basic to intermediate networking knowledge to online console, PC, and mobile gaming functionality.
• Collaborate on QA testing processes and related projects.

Requirements

• At least 6 months of Games or Software QA experience.
• Understanding of networking setup, hardware, principles, and components as applied to modern console, PC, and mobile gaming.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Flexible schedule.

Nice to have

• 1+ years of previous QA experience in a related field.
• Related degree or equivalent qualification.
