Senior Finance Manager - Legal Entity & Securitisation Control & Reporting

Location: Edinburgh, UK. Hybrid working requires at least two days per week, or 40% of working time, at an office site.

Salary: £85,493–£100,580 per year.

What you will do

• Lead and develop managers and colleagues across Legal Entity, Statutory Reporting, and Securitisation.
• Own statutory reporting across a broad subsidiary portfolio, including planning, review, audit coordination, Board support, filing, and lessons learned.
• Provide senior oversight of monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting and reporting for securitisation vehicles.
• Lead legal entity governance, including entity data, attestations, reporting submissions, tagging, liquidations, and ledger clean-up.
• Strengthen the control environment through account ownership, substantiation, control documentation, risk assessment, QAR activity, and escalation.
• Build relationships with auditors and cross-functional partners while providing technical oversight of complex instruments, transactions, valuations, judgements, and reporting transformation.

Requirements

• Recognised accountancy qualification or equivalent senior-level technical accounting experience.
• Strong statutory or external reporting, audit, and financial control experience.
• Experience leading managers and diverse teams through demanding delivery cycles and change.
• Sound judgement on complex legal entity, securitisation, capital, or valuation matters.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with securitisation, SPVs, iXBRL tagging, or regulatory submissions.
• Experience with legal entity simplification, control transformation, Workiva, or technology-enabled reporting improvement.
