Senior Finance Manager - Product Strategy & Commercial Finance (AI/SaaS)

What you will do

• Build and maintain product-level P&Ls covering revenue, costs, margins, and investment.
• Develop portfolio investment analyses and business cases to guide funding decisions.
• Partner with Product leadership and collaborate with Pricing, Sales, Customer Success, and Finance on product and commercial decisions.
• Analyse packaging, pricing, discounting, and consumption-based commercial models.
• Develop financial views of AI consumption, cost-to-serve, and product margins.
• Support rolling forecasts, scenario analysis, portfolio reviews, and recommendations based on incomplete product, usage, and commercial data.

Requirements

• Strong commercial finance and financial modelling capability, including experience building P&Ls, business cases, and driver-based models.
• Understanding of software or SaaS economics, including ARR, retention, margin, and unit economics.
• Experience partnering with senior non-finance stakeholders.
• Strong commercial judgement and intuition, with the ability to identify the business drivers beneath financial results.
• Ability to work with imperfect information, define assumptions, and make progress without perfect data.
• High standards, attention to detail, and a precise, structured, consistent approach.
• Commitment to the integrity and quality of analysis.
• Clear communication skills, including the ability to explain complex product economics simply and constructively challenge senior stakeholders.
• Ability to take ownership of analytical output.
