Regional Manufacturing Accountant, Multi-Site (Manufacturing)

Location: Fully onsite in Tuscola, IL or Carrollton, KY, United States, with 10–15% travel to other hirify.global sites, including Midland, MI.

Salary: $91,750–$126,200 per year, plus annual bonus based on company performance.

What you will do

• Lead or support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close activities, maintaining balance sheet accuracy and general ledger integrity.
• Oversee standard product costing, COGS, material, labor, and overhead variance analysis, and gross margin reporting.
• Coordinate physical inventory audits, cycle counts, standard cost updates, and obsolete or excess inventory reserve evaluations.
• Prepare weekly and monthly dashboards, site financial reports, and cost analyses for regional management and plant leadership.
• Support annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, CapEx tracking, and cash flow projections.
• Maintain internal controls, corporate accounting policies, US GAAP compliance, and ERP-based process improvements.

Requirements

• University degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• In-depth understanding of standard costing, variance analysis, and plant cost accounting principles.
• Proficiency with enterprise ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Ability to communicate complex financial metrics to non-financial plant and operations personnel.
• Willingness to work fully onsite at Tuscola, IL or Carrollton, KY and travel 10–15% to other sites.

• CPA designation or active pursuit of the designation.
