Manager, Software Engineering (AI)

Location: Atlanta, Georgia, United States. Hybrid office-first culture with three days per week in the office for most roles; role-specific flexibility should be verified with the recruiter.

Annual base pay range for candidates based in California, Colorado, Connecticut, Nevada, New York, Rhode Island, and Washington: $143,625–$215,438 USD. The role may also include discretionary bonuses, equity, commissions, and benefits.

What you will do

• Set strategic goals, plan execution, prioritize projects, and contribute to long-term technical direction.
• Lead end-to-end development of new products and technologies from initial design through market release.
• Define requirements, goals, timelines, and development strategies aligned with company objectives and available resources.
• Monitor the reliability and performance of internal systems, identify improvements, and ensure compliance with security regulations.
• Coordinate internal and external stakeholders while providing technical oversight to the engineering team.
• Build onboarding and mentoring programs that support individual and team growth.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 8+ years of engineering experience, including a strong record of successfully developing and delivering complex, enterprise-class software with material market impact.
• Recent experience in development, operations, troubleshooting, and team management.
• Understanding of operating in a DevOps model and of the agile software development lifecycle.
• Experience with system design and architecture, including designing and architecting large, complex distributed systems.
• Deep knowledge of data structures, programming, and algorithms.
• Strong critical-thinking, advanced analytical, systematic problem-solving, ownership, and execution skills.
• Strong consulting skills and tactful conflict-management abilities.
