Video Management System Administrator (Avigilon ACC)

Location: Charlotte, NC 28262, United States; hybrid schedule

Contract: 12 months; W-2 contract only, no C2C or 1099

hirify.global is offering a 12-month W-2 contract assignment for enterprise video management system administration.

What you will do

• Deploy, configure, and administer Avigilon ACC 7/8 NVR servers and clients across multiple sites.
• Install and maintain Avigilon and Axis IP cameras, including firmware updates and ONVIF integration.
• Monitor system health, storage allocation, performance, video analytics, recording rules, alarms, and alerting.
• Administer Active Directory integration, user roles, access rights, security permissions, licensing, upgrades, and vendor support cases.
• Troubleshoot camera, server, storage, network, and video-related issues while documenting configurations and deployment events.
• Collaborate with IT, Security, and vendors on access control, intercom, PSIM, SIP/IP audio, cybersecurity, evidence export, chain of custody, and audit requirements.

Requirements

• Experience operating in a corporate enterprise environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Windows 11, Microsoft Office including strongly required Excel and Word, SharePoint, and Teams.
• Proficiency with Remote Desktop administration.
• Knowledge of Active Directory and related cloud applications, including Azure AD and Office 365.
• Ability to work on a W-2 basis only; C2C and 1099 arrangements are not accepted.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of TCP/IP networking, LAN/WAN fundamentals, firewalls, NAT, and IP routing.
• Experience with PoE switches, VLANs, QoS, IP camera configuration, NVR storage provisioning, and RAID.
• Knowledge of Avigilon ACC architecture, Axis Camera Station, IP video fundamentals, and third-party security integrations.
• Familiarity with Category and fiber optic cabling standards, data retention, video export formats, and evidence handling.
• Experience applying cybersecurity best practices in VMS environments.
• Ability to create SOPs, documentation, and training materials, with strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.
