Data Analyst III Healthcare Analytics

Location: Remote-MO; other listed remote locations: AZ, MI, FL, NC, TX, and CA. Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future employment-based visa sponsorship.

Salary: $70,100–$126,200 per year.

What you will do

• Analyze claims, provider, member, and encounter data from multiple sources and assess business impact.
• Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot complex SQL, Excel, and analytics scripts and reports.
• Plan and execute large-scale projects with limited direction and identify process enhancements and automation opportunities.
• Investigate data irregularities through root-cause analysis and present findings and recommendations to leadership, customers, and business partners.
• Gather requirements, validate results, and communicate data-driven insights to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Provide technical guidance to junior analysts while managing multiple tasks and deadlines.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, statistics, mathematics, actuarial science, public health, health informatics, healthcare administration, finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 4 years of experience working with large databases, data verification, and data management, or at least 2 years of IT experience.
• Working knowledge of SQL and querying languages.
• Knowledge of statistical, analytical, or data-mining techniques, including basic data modeling, trend analysis, and root-cause analysis.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision, manage variable tasks, gather requirements, validate results, and meet targeted timelines.
• Ability to communicate findings and insights verbally and visually to non-technical business partners and stakeholders.
• U.S. work authorization is required without current or future employment-based visa sponsorship; H-1B, L-1, O-1, H-1B1, F-1, J-1, OPT, and CPT sponsorship are unavailable.
