Software Engineer III (Java/React)

Salary: $117,000–$234,000 per year, plus annual or quarterly performance incentives.

What you will do

• Guide small groups of two to three engineers, including offshore associates, by providing project documentation, direction, examples, and timelines.
• Translate business and project requirements into technical solutions, designs, code, tests, and on-time deliveries.
• Design and implement REST APIs, user interfaces, microservices, database integrations, and CI/CD workflows.
• Respond to user and business issues, troubleshoot production problems, perform root cause analysis, and drive resolution plans.
• Collaborate with product management, project management, business, user experience, cross-functional, and support teams during project discovery and delivery.
• Produce technical documentation and communicate project status, issues, handoffs, and implementation implications.

Requirements

• Master’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience designing and implementing REST API web services using Node.js and Java, with coding experience in an object-oriented programming language.
• Experience designing CRUD operations for non-relational databases, including Azure Cosmos DB using MongoDB commands, and designing and testing relational database systems including Oracle DB.
• Experience designing and implementing user interfaces with React, React Material UI, Angular 4, Angular.js, and Angular Material.
• Experience implementing microservices architecture.
• Experience with test-driven development and application testing using Jest, Enzyme, Chai, Mockito, and JUnit.
• Experience writing technical documentation, including API, Quality Assurance, and Software Architecture Design documentation.
• Experience using GitHub, Jira, and CI/CD pipeline flows for automated build and deployment, including Jenkins.
• The position does not require specific years of experience; any amount of experience with the required skills is accepted.
