Senior Fullstack Engineer (Java/React)

Location: San Francisco, United States; 100% telecommuting permitted. hirify.global can hire in any country where it has a legal entity.

Salary: $221,187–$235,000 per year.

What you will do

• Guide the technical direction and implementation of large-scale product features across the full engineering stack.
• Build dynamic user experiences with product, design, and engineering teams.
• Contribute to code reviews, documentation, quality assurance, debugging, and production support.
• Evaluate trade-offs among correctness, robustness, performance, security, reliability, and customer impact.
• Build and integrate REST APIs and GraphQL while resolving bugs and production issues.

Requirements

• Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field plus 3 years of related experience; alternatively, a bachelor’s degree or equivalent plus 5 years of progressive post-bachelor’s related experience.
• At least 3 years of experience with debugging, production support, and complex issue resolution.
• At least 3 years of experience with code reviews, documentation, and quality assurance best practices.
• Experience with JavaScript ES6, HTML5, CSS, and modern frameworks such as React, AngularJS, or Vue.
• Experience with server-side development using Java and Node.js and object-oriented design.
• Experience with testing frameworks and practices such as Jest, Cypress, Mocha, or Chai.
• Experience with A/B testing, data-driven development, and front-end architecture.
• Experience building and integrating REST APIs, GraphQL, SQL, and basic data and numerical analysis.
• Any suitable combination of education, training, or experience will be accepted.
