Procurement Associate

Location: Hybrid in New Jersey Tier 2, United States; requires 3 days per week in the office, with the option to work in the office up to 5 days per week.

Salary: $67,500–$70,500 per year in Swedesboro; geographic-specific salary structures apply.

What you will do

• Build and maintain supplier relationships through email, virtual meetings, and direct calls.
• Evaluate and submit purchase orders to maintain inventory levels and ensure timely delivery of raw materials.
• Address raw-material quality concerns raised by culinary and operational teams with supplier partners.
• Communicate forecasting changes and coordinate the launch of new raw materials with suppliers and cross-functional teams.
• Evaluate reporting to minimize waste at production and distribution facilities.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in a supply chain position, preferably in foodservice or retail food operations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain and strong analytical skills.
• Team-oriented approach with appreciation for different viewpoints and ideas.
• Excellent project management and leadership skills.
• Sense of urgency and strong attention to detail.
• Ability to grasp concepts quickly and apply learning.
• Self-starter who proactively seeks answers and information.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and pivot as needed.
