Automation Engineer (Power Automate/UiPath)

Location: Hybrid (remote/office) in Portugal or Romania; listed locations include Lisbon, Amadora, Porto, Perafita, and Bucharest. Remote work is permitted within Portugal.

What you will do

• Design and deliver end-to-end automations with UiPath, Power Automate, and low-code/no-code technologies.
• Integrate SAP and Salesforce with automation platforms, AI, and agentic technologies.
• Identify, map, prioritize, and re-engineer business processes with business leads and cross-functional teams using Lean and Six Sigma principles.
• Design and optimize data pipelines with Alteryx and Snowflake.
• Develop actionable dashboards and KPIs with Power BI or Tableau.
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications and documentation, applying analytics, statistics, and machine learning foundations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Data Analytics, Data Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, plus typically 4–6+ years of professional experience in process automation, data analytics, or digital transformation.
• Proven experience delivering end-to-end automation projects and integrating low-code solutions in complex enterprise environments, including SAP and Salesforce.
• Hands-on knowledge of UiPath, Microsoft Power Automate, Power Apps, and Mendix, with the ability to select the appropriate technology for each business challenge.
• Experience with Alteryx, Snowflake, Power BI, and Tableau, plus foundational knowledge of statistics and machine learning.
• Experience with process mapping and re-engineering, Lean/Six Sigma, requirements gathering, and technical documentation.
• Strong process improvement, analytical, and collaborative mindset with the ability to work with business and cross-functional stakeholders.
