Data Integration & Analytics - Onsite Technical Lead

Location: Onsite in Short Hills, New Jersey; regular in-person work from the office is required.

Salary: $115,000–$180,000 annually.

What you will do

• Own end-to-end delivery of data integration and analytics initiatives from planning and requirements through production stabilization.
• Lead offshore development teams, set priorities, remove blockers, and ensure timely, high-quality delivery.
• Manage milestones, risks, dependencies, issues, action items, and stakeholder communications.
• Partner with business users, Product Owners, Project Managers, QA teams, and upstream and downstream application partners.
• Lead the design, development, enhancement, and support of ETL, data warehouse, and analytics solutions.
• Review technical designs and code, promote reusable patterns and standards, and drive root-cause analysis for data-quality, performance, batch-processing, and production-support issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 8+ years of experience in data warehousing, ETL, data integration, or enterprise analytics delivery, including 3+ years leading technical teams and coordinating offshore delivery resources.
• Strong hands-on experience with Informatica PowerCenter and/or Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services.
• Strong Microsoft SQL Server experience, including advanced SQL development, stored procedures, query optimization, and performance tuning.
• Experience developing or supporting enterprise data warehouse solutions on IBM Netezza.
• Understanding of data integration patterns, dimensional modeling, batch processing, data quality, and production support.
• Experience working within Agile/Scrum and structured SDLC delivery environments.
• Strong communication, leadership, planning, organization, problem-solving, stakeholder-management, ownership, and accountability skills.
• Ability to work regularly onsite in the Short Hills, New Jersey office.

Nice to have

• Databricks experience, including data engineering, Delta Lake, lakehouse patterns, or ETL modernization.
• Power BI experience with enterprise dashboards, semantic models, data refresh, and reporting solutions.
• Cloud data services experience with Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Knowledge of cloud data lakes, lakehouse architecture, CI/CD, DevOps, or DataOps practices.
• Insurance industry experience, preferably Property & Casualty insurance, and exposure to policy, claims, billing, underwriting, finance, reinsurance, or regulatory reporting data.
• Experience delivering solutions in regulated environments with awareness of audit, compliance, data governance, privacy, security, and data-retention requirements.
