Field Demonstration Operations Specialist

Location: On-site in Paris, France; frequent international travel, including travel to degraded security environments, may be required at short notice.

What you will do

• Prepare, verify, pack, deploy, and dismantle drones, ground control stations, batteries, tooling, and other demonstration equipment.
• Maintain accurate inventories and keep operational and equipment checklists up to date, incorporating field feedback and improving procedures.
• Organize outbound shipments and equipment returns, prepare transport documentation, and coordinate carriers and supply-chain partners for sensitive or dual-use equipment.
• Support pilots during flight operations and act as the on-site contact for ground teams, host-nation staff, clients, and partners.
• Monitor fleet condition, perform first-level maintenance, and report anomalies to keep hardware mission-ready.
• Prepare authorization requests and mission reports, manage expenses and travel bookings, and maintain planning, backlog, and mission logs.

Requirements

• Military background or defense-sector experience, particularly in logistics, field support, or operations, is strongly valued.
• Understanding of the defense ecosystem and genuine commitment to national and European sovereignty.
• Versatility, resourcefulness, rigor with equipment and procedures, and willingness to formalize and improve processes.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Professional English is mandatory.
• A French driving licence (Permis B) is mandatory.
• Frequent international travel and short-notice deployment to degraded security environments are required.

Nice to have

• Heavy goods vehicle licence (Poids Lourd).
• Experience piloting drones or working in the UAS/C-UAS ecosystem.
• Experience shipping sensitive equipment.
