Global Sourcing Manager Electronics

What you will do

• Build long-term category roadmaps for PCBs, PCBAs, and cable harness assemblies, aligning cost, quality, supply resilience, and product lifecycle requirements.
• Lead RFIs, RFQs, RFPs, and strategic sourcing campaigns with accountability for part quality, timelines, and target costs.
• Own relationships with contract manufacturers and specialized board and harness fabricators, managing supply continuity, risk mitigation, negotiations, and NPI-to-mass-production transitions.
• Collaborate with hardware engineering and manufacturing partners on design specifications, production processes, CapEx, equipment investments, prototyping, and hardware build milestones.
• Analyze supplier cost structures using granular breakdowns and TCO models; negotiate commercial agreements, pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
• Establish vendor evaluation systems, integrate new electronics technologies, resolve technical bottlenecks, and present technical updates to executive leadership.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• 6+ years of specialized experience managing electronic commodities, including PCB/PCBA, custom cabling, and wire harnesses, in a high-tech sourcing or supply chain engineering environment.
• Advanced proficiency in TCO modeling and data-driven vendor evaluation within complex hardware architectures.
• Ability to develop commodity strategies directly with engineering leadership.
• Strong cross-functional leadership skills and a track record of driving alignment across diverse teams.
• Adaptable, hands-on approach in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, including bridging operational gaps and removing process friction.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with stakeholders ranging from junior members to senior executives.
