Test Lead (Ecommerce)

Location: Derby, England, United Kingdom; the second-stage interview is on-site.

What you will do

• Lead and coordinate User Acceptance Testing and regression testing across multiple Business Change projects supporting the distribution operation.
• Define test strategies, scope, plans, scripts, acceptance criteria, and go/no-go measures across agile and waterfall projects.
• Track test results, defects, risks, and issues, providing stakeholders with clear visibility of release readiness.
• Coordinate testing resources and translate functional requirements into testing that reflects operational system use.
• Investigate issues, recommend solutions, escalate risks, and support release documentation and standard operating materials.
• Act as the main testing contact for technical, project, development, and operational stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience testing core systems, preferably in a large-scale automated logistics or warehouse operation.
• Strong knowledge of system testing, regression testing, and User Acceptance Testing.
• Experience creating testing strategies, plans, scripts, and acceptance criteria.
• Familiarity with test management or technical tools such as SOAPUI and AWS.
• Experience working with technical and business stakeholders across project, development, and operational teams.
• Ability to identify, explain, and challenge differences between expected and actual system behaviour.
• Experience with KNAPP WCS/WMS or Dürkopp systems.
