Project Implementation & Test Lead

Location: Derby, England, United Kingdom; the second-stage interview is held on-site.

What you will do

• Build cases for change, complete upfront analysis, and support investment approval.
• Lead fulfilment change projects through delivery, implementation, handover, and post-implementation review.
• Identify project risks and issues, and implement effective mitigation.
• Develop testing strategies, plans, scripts, acceptance criteria, and go/no-go definitions.
• Lead User Acceptance and regression testing, managing results, defects, and potential impact.
• Coordinate operational, technical, project, and external supplier stakeholders through implementation and transition into BAU.

Requirements

• Experience delivering projects and understanding project management methodologies, risks, and mitigation.
• Strong communication skills, including the ability to explain complex or technical issues clearly.
• Experience testing core systems, ideally in a large-scale automated logistics or warehouse environment.
• Good knowledge of system, regression, and User Acceptance Testing.
• Experience working with technical, operational, and project stakeholders.
• Ability to challenge constructively, identify differences between expected and actual system behaviour, and recommend solutions.
• Ability to build effective working relationships internally and with external suppliers.

Nice to have

• Experience with KNAPP WCS/WMS, Dürkopp, SOAPUI, or AWS.
