Solutions Architect (Fintech)

Location: Remote; hiring in Latin America. A valid U.S. visa and ability to travel to the U.S. for onboarding and knowledge transfer are required.

What you will do

• Own solution architecture from discovery through production, including technical designs, transition plans, documentation, and engineering guidance.
• Design architectures across React portals, embeddable widgets, .NET microservices, APIs, event-driven flows, data pipelines, and databases.
• Design AWS solutions using EKS, Lambda, ECS, S3, and Step Functions.
• Define patterns for service boundaries, APIs, resilience, auditability, provider onboarding, and secure integrations with finance providers, partners, identity services, and enterprise systems.
• Partner with platform engineering on infrastructure as code, Kubernetes, CI/CD, environment strategy, secrets management, release controls, and observability.
• Lead security, performance, resilience, and production-readiness reviews; identify risks, resolve cross-team decisions, coach engineers, and communicate technical trade-offs.

Requirements

• 10+ years of software engineering experience, including 5+ years as a Solutions Architect.
• Strong hands-on experience with C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core, and AWS architecture for secure, production-grade distributed systems.
• Experience with microservices, REST APIs, asynchronous and event-driven patterns, and enterprise integrations.
• Working knowledge of React-based architecture, micro-frontends or embeddable components, and browser security.
• Experience with PostgreSQL and MongoDB, including data modeling, performance, and migrations.
• Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes/EKS, infrastructure as code, CI/CD, and automated release controls.
• Ability to define non-functional requirements for availability, scalability, performance, recoverability, security, privacy, and supportability.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical decisions and influence cross-functional teams and external partners.
• Valid U.S. visa and ability to travel to the U.S. for onboarding and knowledge transfer.

Nice to have

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect certification at Associate or Professional level.
• Background in payments, financial services, embedded finance, lending, BaaS, or regulated platforms.
• Experience with Akamai, AWS KMS/ACM, Argo CD, Snowflake, SFTP/file integrations, and enterprise identity/SSO.
• Experience with pluggable provider architectures, white-label portals, embeddable widgets, or multi-tenant platforms.
• Familiarity with architecture governance, threat modeling, PCI-related controls, privacy requirements, and audit evidence.
