Senior Android Platform Engineer (AOSP / Audio)

Location: Remote from Wrocław or Bielsko-Biała, Poland

Salary: 125–175 PLN/h + VAT on a B2B contract

What you will do

• Integrate an audio SDK into AOSP-based OEM builds.
• Develop and maintain Android platform components, including Audio HAL, AudioFlinger, and AudioPolicy.
• Work with Qualcomm AudioReach and other DSP audio frameworks.
• Optimize audio processing and SDK performance on NPU and DSP hardware.
• Develop native C/C++ components and framework-level Java/Kotlin components.
• Collaborate with OEM partners, support integrations, and troubleshoot platform-level issues.

Requirements

• Senior-level experience in Android platform development with AOSP.
• Strong understanding of Android audio architecture, including Audio HAL, AudioFlinger, and AudioPolicy.
• Strong programming skills in C/C++ and experience with Java and/or Kotlin.
• Hands-on experience with Qualcomm AudioReach or other DSP audio frameworks.
• Practical knowledge of SELinux, Treble, and CTS/VTS.
• Experience integrating software into OEM or SoC vendor builds.
• Fluent English required.

Nice to have

• Experience running machine learning models on NPU/DSP.
• Knowledge of real-time audio processing.
