Product Manager Intern (2027) (Internet Infrastructure)

Location: In-office in Lisbon, Portugal, 3–5 days per week; full-time on-site expectations during standard business hours, typically 9:00 AM–6:00 PM.

Salary: €2,450 per month for Portugal-based hires.

What you will do

• Own a product project focused on improving products, user experience, and key features.
• Conduct user research and competitive analysis to identify user needs, pain points, and market opportunities.
• Collaborate with engineering, design, and product leaders to define requirements and ship features at scale.
• Help define success metrics and measure business and user impact.
• Analyze complex problems and balance technical feasibility with user needs and market constraints.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Human-Computer Interaction, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
• Passion for technology and empathy for user needs.
• Technical literacy, including the ability to understand architectural concepts and developer workflows.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, written communication, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to explain complex concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Self-starter mindset, initiative, and comfort with ambiguity.
• Ability to commit to a full-time, 40-hour-per-week, 12-week internship during May–September 2027, without conflicting classes.
• Applicants must be available for in-person work in Lisbon and remote or part-time applications are not considered.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with networking, security, or Zero Trust concepts, including TCP/IP, HTTP, or DNS.
• Experience with developer tools, APIs, hirify.global products, product specifications, wireframes, or user research.
• Basic coding ability or familiarity with command-line tools and developer workflows.
