Senior Professional Services DevOps Engineer

Location: Remote, US

Base salary: $150,000–$180,000 per year, based on skills, qualifications, experience, and location; discretionary bonuses or commissions may also apply.

What you will do

• Design, set up, and build CI/CD pipelines and DevOps platforms for customers using hirify.global products, Docker, Kubernetes, infrastructure as code, and cloud-native practices.
• Build CI pipelines covering binary repositories, distribution to devices, and continuous build tooling with Docker, NPM, Java, and PyPI.
• Collaborate with Sales, Customer Success, Support, Development, developers, and DevOps professionals to support customers’ DevOps journeys.
• Train the open-source community and hirify.global customers and build strong customer relationships.
• Influence hirify.global tool features and roadmaps based on customer needs.
• Stay current with DevOps and CI/CD technology trends.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience with continuous integration tools including CI servers, Git, Artifactory, Jenkins, Maven, Docker, and NPM.
• Ability to build software delivery pipelines with Docker, NPM, Java, PyPI, Git, binary repository management, binary scanning, and continuous integration tools.
• Strong understanding of infrastructure and operations, including storage, networking, computing, security, and public or on-premise cloud environments.
• Experience with continuous deployment and delivery tools including Chef, Puppet, Ansible, and Kubernetes.
• Hands-on Linux experience is mandatory.
• Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure on AWS, Azure, or GCP is mandatory.
• Customer-facing experience with strong interpersonal and customer-service skills.
• Experience with server-side software in on-premise and cloud environments.
• Willingness to learn and an open-source mindset.
