Digital Data Operations Manager (Data Integration)

Location: Getafe Area, Spain; other location: Sevilla Area. Hybrid working model when possible.

What you will do

• Guarantee delivery and service health of data integration platforms, interfaces, pipelines, and data objects across divisional facilities.
• Monitor incidents, service-level agreements, service KPIs, external service metrics, and data quality, collaborating with data engineers and solution architects.
• Lead root-cause analysis and action plans for operational problems within the assigned local or divisional perimeter.
• Manage patches, security documentation, certificates, licenses, vulnerabilities, access controls, and platform compliance.
• Own project EIS deliverables, change requests, service backlogs, and operational documentation for data integration projects.
• Act as the main point of contact for external service providers and maintain project and service records up to date.

Requirements

• University degree in Computer Science, Data Science, IT, or a similar field.
• More than 5 years of relevant experience as a DataOps Engineer or in Operations Management.
• Mandatory experience with API-based services technologies and cloud architecture in on-premises environments.
• Extensive hands-on experience with ITILv4 principles and IT Service Management.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes for isolating data environments.
• Advanced knowledge of DevOps methods and tools, especially CI/CD and version control such as Git, GitHub, GitLab, or Jenkins.
• Experience querying and managing relational and NoSQL databases.
• Experience creating technical and support documentation and translating business requirements into reporting and models.
• Knowledge of problem-solving methodologies such as PPS and 5 Whys, with strong attention to detail; basic IT project management knowledge across waterfall and agile methods.
• English at negotiation level and strong collaboration and communication skills.
• Candidates must meet all legal and professional requirements for the role.

Nice to have

• Existing security clearance or eligibility to obtain one.
• Experience administering Windows and Linux environments.
• Basic knowledge of data analytics, data governance, and data lineage.
• Basic knowledge of building ESB and/or ETL/ELT solutions and large-scale on-premises data pipeline integrations.
