Digital Data Engineer (Data Integration)

What you will do

• Design, implement, and deploy data integration activities within enterprise integration products for digital projects.
• Define integration tasks for new use cases and requirements raised by Product Owners.
• Manage UAT and deployment activities in coordination with Data Integration Product Operations Managers.
• Analyze Data Integration Platform performance to support existing service-level agreements.
• Support migration of existing pipelines to API-based microservices architecture and contribute to AI adoption initiatives.
• Support data modelling, documentation, data quality checks, automated alerts, deployment plans, and technical architecture advice.

Requirements

• University degree in an IT-related field.
• English and Spanish at negotiation level.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.
• Existing security clearance or eligibility to obtain one.
• More than 5 years of relevant Data Engineer experience focused on data integration and data quality checks.
• More than 5 years of hands-on experience building and developing data pipelines with enterprise data integration platforms, including middleware, ETL, ELT, and API platforms.
• Experience with large-scale on-premises data pipelines and data from CSV, JSON, XML, relational databases, and other sources.
• Deep experience with data integration programming languages and technologies, including Python, Flask, Node, JavaScript, and Express.
• Experience producing technical and support documentation and translating business requirements into reporting and data models.
• Proficiency in querying and managing relational and NoSQL databases.
• Experience with API-based service technologies.
• Understanding of microservices and event-driven architecture approaches, preferably in on-premises environments.
• Knowledge of DevOps methods and tools, with at least 2–3 years of experience.
• IT project management knowledge and basic experience with IT Service Management principles.
• Basic knowledge of Data Analytics and AI principles and techniques.
