AWS Cloud Technical Leader

What you will do

• Provide technical leadership for developing, enhancing, implementing, and operating solutions in AWS environments.
• Guide development, infrastructure, and support teams on engineering, security, quality, performance, and DevOps best practices.
• Define technical solutions, support technology decisions, and ensure integration between applications, AWS services, and corporate systems.
• Oversee the full application lifecycle, including development, deployment, maintenance, releases, and continuous evolution.
• Lead technical reviews of code, infrastructure, solutions, and deployments; identify technical risks and technical debt.
• Coordinate complex incidents, provide L3 support, and maintain technical documentation.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in technical leadership positions within Cloud Engineering or similar roles.
• Proven experience leading technical teams and coordinating cross-functional initiatives.
• Experience developing, deploying, and operating applications in AWS environments.
• Experience with distributed architectures and highly available production environments.
• Strong AWS Cloud knowledge, preferably including EC2, ECS, EKS, Lambda, API Gateway, S3, RDS, IAM, and CloudWatch, or equivalent services.
• Knowledge of distributed application architectures, microservices, Docker, Kubernetes/EKS, Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or equivalent tools, and CI/CD deployment automation.
• Experience designing and implementing REST APIs, distributed services, integration patterns, messaging, and event-driven architectures.
• Knowledge of AWS networking and security, plus experience managing environments, releases, and production changes.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and technical leadership skills.
• English: C1 level required, spoken and written, for leading technical sessions and coordinating international teams.

Nice to have

• Advanced experience with GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or equivalent tools.
• Experience with DevOps platforms and infrastructure automation.
• Knowledge of observability, SRE, vulnerability management, Agile, DevOps, and DevSecOps methodologies.
• AWS certifications such as Developer, SysOps Administrator, or DevOps Engineer Professional.
• Experience in regulated environments, banking, or financial markets.
• Experience with application modernization and migrations to AWS.
