Senior DevSecOps Engineer (AWS)

Location: Remote from Spain; other EU or Latam countries will be taken into account. The conditions mention Málaga.

What you will do

• Design, implement, and operate secure, scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS and EKS.
• Onboard and migrate applications to standardized cloud patterns and platform services.
• Develop and maintain GitHub-based CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code with Terraform and promote infrastructure and application lifecycle automation.
• Manage Kubernetes environments, improve reliability and scalability, and drive observability and SRE practices using monitoring, logging, CloudWatch, and potentially Dynatrace.
• Improve AWS identity management by migrating from credential-based authentication to IAM and IRSA, while maintaining documentation, service catalog governance, security, and developer experience.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience as a DevSecOps or DevOps Engineer.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS / Amazon Web Services and advanced knowledge of Kubernetes, ideally including EKS.
• Strong experience with GitHub and GitHub-based development and CI/CD workflows.
• Hands-on experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.
• Solid experience with Docker and containerized environments.
• Strong knowledge of Linux, cloud automation, infrastructure automation, authentication, IAM, and Amazon CloudWatch.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional technical teams.
• A strong security mindset and interest in building reliable, scalable, and well-governed cloud platforms.

• Experience with Python scripting or automation.
• Experience with Java applications or ecosystems.
• Experience with Dynatrace or other observability platforms.
• Experience with AWS IAM Roles for Service Accounts (IRSA).
• Knowledge of SRE principles and practices.
• Previous experience in large-scale enterprise or financial services environments.
