Associate Designer (CAD)

Location: On-site in New Port Richey, Florida, United States

What you will do

• Create and revise CAD models of components and assemblies.
• Create and modify manufacturing drawings and engineering documentation for new products.
• Prepare drawings and schematics using CAD or CAE equipment with a high degree of precision.
• Work with engineers and designers to resolve design details and discrepancies, including unusual or complex designs.
• Sustain legacy products and support manufacturing operations.
• Conduct feasibility studies when required.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of CAD experience with 3D solid modeling and/or surfacing.
• A two-year technical degree in design/drafting, equivalent CAD training, or equivalent experience.
• Ability to lift 30 lbs.
• Ability to sit for long periods, move throughout the facility, and observe production operations.
• Occasional travel may be required.

Nice to have

• Experience with spreadsheet analysis and 3D solid modeling software applications.
• CATIA V5 experience is preferred.
