Associate, Mechanical Engineer (Aerospace)

Location: Greenville, Texas, United States. Onsite role with a 9/80 schedule.

What you will do

• Design detail parts, assemblies, and installations for aircraft structures, mission equipment, and mechanical systems.
• Apply basic engineering design and analytical theory, including structural analysis, to integrated system design.
• Research concepts, develop layouts, and prepare engineering drawings using three-dimensional solid modeling CAD tools.
• Coordinate design activities with Tooling, Flight Sciences, Manufacturing, and Production to meet requirements at minimum cost.
• Work with senior-level design engineers across varied aircraft systems and aircraft platforms.

Requirements

• Applicants must be pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Aeronautical, or Civil Engineering, or must have completed the degree within the last 12 months, regardless of age.
• Basic understanding of engineering design, analytical theory, and structural analysis.
