Warehouse Technician (IT Hardware)

Location: Warehouse - Utah; onsite warehouse work requiring lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for a full shift.

What you will do

• Receive, inspect, log, and asset-tag laptops and peripherals in the warehouse management system.
• Grade device condition and perform functional testing to route assets for redeployment, refurbishment, harvesting, or recycling.
• Perform NIST 800-88-compliant data sanitization and remove iCloud Activation Lock, BitLocker, and BIOS passwords.
• Re-image macOS, Windows 10/11, and ChromeOS devices, then apply firmware and operating-system updates.
• Enroll devices in Jamf Pro, Microsoft Intune, or Kandji and verify Apple Business Manager or Windows Autopilot bindings.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts and audits, and pick, pack, and ship individual or palletized orders.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of hands-on experience in IT support, hardware repair, electronics refurbishment, or asset warehousing.
• Ability to troubleshoot Windows 10/11 and macOS, including command-line diagnostic tools.
• Experience with barcode scanners and asset-tracking or inventory-management systems.
• Familiarity with data sanitization tools such as Blancco or KillDisk, or understanding of NIST 800-88 standards.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and remain on your feet for a full warehouse shift.
• Strong attention to detail when recording serial numbers, grading devices, and maintaining chain of custody.
