Technology Implementation Technician (Endpoint Deployment)

Location: Onsite at the hirify.global Technology Innovation Center in Pawtucket, Rhode Island, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.; travel throughout Massachusetts, Connecticut, New Hampshire, Maine, Rhode Island, and Vermont may be required, with non-local travel up to 25%.

Salary: $30.00–$40.00 per hour.

What you will do

• Prepare, assemble, image, configure, test, clean, pack, and label laptops, desktops, and related IT equipment.
• Install operating systems, firmware updates, drivers, approved software, and managed services tools using endpoint deployment and imaging technologies.
• Perform basic hardware troubleshooting, warranty repair, quality assurance checks, and issue escalation.
• Support shipping, receiving, inventory control, asset tagging, order fulfillment, and delivery of completed devices.
• Maintain device, inventory, project, and quality records according to documented procedures and ISO 9001 requirements.
• Support enterprise migrations, customer engagements, data center moves, customer-site support, and other technical or operational projects.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One to two years of experience with PC hardware, device deployment, imaging, inventory, warehouse operations, or a related field; equivalent relevant experience and demonstrated technical aptitude may be considered.
• Basic knowledge of Windows operating systems, PC hardware, and networking concepts.
• Ability to follow documented procedures, manage multiple priorities, complete repetitive tasks accurately, and troubleshoot basic hardware and configuration issues.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, attention to detail, willingness to learn, and ability to communicate problems clearly.
• Professional communication and customer service skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel throughout Massachusetts, Connecticut, New Hampshire, Maine, Rhode Island, and Vermont as needed.
• Ability to work onsite Monday through Friday at the Technology Innovation Center in Pawtucket, Rhode Island.
• Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods; bend, squat, crawl, climb ladders, reach, stretch, carry, push, and pull equipment; and regularly lift and move items weighing 10 to 70 pounds.

Nice to have

• Experience with SmartDeploy, Microsoft Deployment Toolkit, Microsoft Configuration Manager, Microsoft Intune, Windows Autopilot, or similar endpoint deployment technologies.
• Experience with Microsoft Active Directory.
• CompTIA A+ or Network+ certification.
• Experience with inventory management systems, shipping and receiving, or IT asset lifecycle management.
• Experience with network cabling, switch configuration, disk arrays, enterprise migrations, or data center moves.
