Electronic Security Project Manager (ESS)

What you will do

• Own project scope, schedule, cost, quality, and client satisfaction from initiation through closeout.
• Coordinate stakeholders, meetings, schedules, deliverables, technician task lists, project communications, and internal and external responsibilities.
• Manage commercial electronic security systems integration projects to complete them on time, within budget, and to client expectations.
• Act as the primary client interface, managing expectations, communications, satisfaction, and long-term relationships.
• Coordinate site verification, drawings, documentation, design reviews, issue resolution, system programming, and final checkout.
• Manage punch lists, training, and project turnover to the client, service department, and sales.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of project management experience in commercial construction trades and settings or experience with Electronic Security Systems (ESS).
• Strong technical abilities and the ability to learn new technologies quickly.
• Experience in a client-facing role with a pleasant, professional demeanor.
• Solid understanding of PMP methodologies and best practices.
• Valid driver’s license in the state of residence.
• Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
• Ability to work safely on construction sites, use required PPE, spend at least 40% of the time on foot, occasionally climb ladders and stairs, and lift or move materials up to 20 pounds.

Nice to have

• PMP certification from the Project Management Institute.
• Certified Security Project Manager (CSPM) certification.
• Knowledge of Lenel, Genetec, or Avigilon certifications.
